Leman Old Quarter Hotel is one of the best places to stay when visiting Hanoi. It's perfectly situated near the center of the Old Quarter and just a short walk from popular cafes like Bancong Café & Restaurant and Giang Café, among others. It's also close to the lively Beer Street; yet, the hotel remains pleasantly quiet and far less chaotic than many accommodations in the area.

For those who love exploring on foot like I do, Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple are only a 15–20 minute walk away. And if you're planning a trip to Sa Pa, the boarding office of HK Bus Lines (one of the top bus companies servicing the Hanoi - Sa Pa route) is just a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel.

The room amenities are impressive, including free Wi-Fi, secure room access via elevator keycard, a 55"/65" SMART TV, and a Japanese bidet. Breakfast is flavorful, offering a good mix of Western and Vietnamese dishes. And the staff are attentive, always aiming to deliver the quality service you paid for.

Overall, it’s excellent value for money and a wonderful place to stay in Hanoi.

My family stayed here for 7 nights and it was superb. Though our room was a bit small, it was very comfortable and clean! Just a watch out if you have a lot of luggages. The location is the best and near all the spots, and I would say that despite how busy Old Quarter is at night, it was quiet and relaxing inside the room. We were a bit worried at first that it might be a scam because they did not respond to our emails at all. The reception is open 24 hours - we checked in at 2am and checked out at 4am without problems. The bathroom was so lovely - heated toilet, bath tub. It would have been better if they had a hair dryer. There isn't much choices at the breakfast buffet but I would say the beef/chicken pho is a must try.

We ended up at the Leman hotel after a horrible scam/catfish experience at another hotel in Hanoi (splendid secret hotel). Unfortunately most reviews for hotels in Hanoi are fake which we just realised, mine is not! The Leman hotel was a very pleasant surprise and shows that the prices are completely inflated elsewhere to scam tourists.

The hotel is brand new so you can expect spotless rooms, lovely floors, good quality curtains and nice furniture. We got the king suite so it was very spacious, the bed was huge, we had two big bouncy pillows each, aircon was integrated in the ceiling so you don’t have a big unit blowing at you. The bathroom was really beautiful with good quality marble style stone and tiles. New fluffy towels, the soap smelt good, we even had a brand new Japanese toilet ! This actually felt like good value for money at about £140 for 2 nights, compared to a lot of other hotels in Hanoi priced the same with no windows and horrible facilities.

Note that the hotel is very new and therefore some floors are still being built but this didn’t bother us at all, we didn’t hear any noise from the building. There’s no pool or gym, but you get a really nice room, and the breakfast was also delicious, especially the noodle broth and the omelette. You get amazing views at the top as well.

Staff were all very nice at reception, what we liked the most is that they showed us the room before we booked (as we were already in Hanoi) and they weren’t pushing us to book tours or asking us to leave them good reviews.

Location: This is a very beautiful hotel located in the old quarter of Hanoi. From here you can easily walk to different spots. The neighbourhood is lively and there is something to eat at every corner.

Room: we had a beautiful room, clean and with enough amenities. The towels were soft and the soap was just wow! Really really loved the smell.

Service: the hotel staff were very friendly and helpfull. When they see you, they smile and ask how you’re doing. I really enjoyed the small talk with them. They also gave us tips as to where to go and how to get there.

From the breakfast hall you have an excellent view of the city.

I highly recommend this place and can’t wait to stay here again when visiting Hanoi.

I was in a rush with no plan and needed a nice stay for my last 2 nights in Hanoi. Luckily I found Leman on Agoda.

1st I stayed in Deluxe room but I mistakenly booked for 1 night only. The staff was helpful to help me book another night with another standard room and helped me with luggage transfer as I need to leave early in the morning and had no time to check into the 2nd room.

Both the room was clean, good facilities and location is just perfect. Attentive staff. Definitely will book again if I visit Old Quarter in the future.

We had a great experience at this hotel. We had some issues with our booking but the receptionist named Trang who was very kind helped us get it all sorted. All the staff we came across was very friendly which was good as it was our first time in Hanoi.
The hotel itself is new, so all the items in the room and building looked good. We opted for the breakfast buffet on the 9th floor. Great selection of items with a good view. Lastly, the location is very central to the good spots of Hanoi. On the weekends the taxis will drop off at the corner as road is closed for walking only but its only few steps to the front door.
We would stay again.

We initially booked another hotel but found out that the reviews weren't real and decided to book this hotel as a last minute decision right before our trip- and let me tell you we didn't regret it. Agoda cancelled our reservation at this hotel and we were worried about our next steps but the staff was very kind and offered us the stay at almost the same price. The rooms were very clean, sound proof even though we were living at a very busy street, and services were impeccable. Nguyen Gia Huy, who was the receptionist was the highlight of our stay. He made sure we were comfortable, offered tons of recommendations of what to do, where to eat and even booked us reasonable cab services to travel around Hanoi. He went out of his way to help us. The rest of the staff was very kind to us as well, they even took us to the best local spots to make sure our food preferences were cared for. So, don't second guess and just book this place! You won't regret it.

I’ve stayed in a few “boutique” hotels in the Old Quarter and can confidently say Léman is the best. The hotel has only been opened for 2 months and everything is spanking new. Air conditioning was perfect, smart TV and bathroom fixtures were highly quality. Bedding and pillows were very plush, mainly due to them being new. Stayed on the 4th floor and I couldn’t hear much street noise from the room. Breakfast was decent, nothing spectacular but good enough. Service was great and the staff were professional and warm. I’m pretty fortunate to be able to stay here right when the hotel opened and hope they keep up and maintain the hotel to the standards I’ve experienced. Will definitely be back.

As someone who’s quite particular about hotels and hygiene, I was extremely satisfied with my choice.😊 The hotel staff were incredibly kind and always smiling. The rooms were spotless, and since it’s a newly built hotel, everything felt fresh and modern. The location is also perfect, close to everything. I would definitely stay here again on my future trips!

The hotel is super clean, and the bed is very comfortable. The bathroom is also spotless. The location is great and within walking distance of everything. I will definitely come back the next time I am in Hanoi. The restaurant Ms. Han recommended had super delicious food. Thanks for everything!
